 NM, East side. Spotted mid-August in the evening having a nap. Have since found out that this is what foxes do in the wild—sleep out in the open during the day. Perhaps getting forty winks before night falls.
 Chris and Christine on the east side have witnessed a cloud of tadpoles metamorphose into an army of pea-sized yet perfectly formed frogs in a small pond between spring and summer this year.

 From plot holder Esme: a picture of what I think is a yellow underwing moth caterpillar (though not certain)—spotted 13th May, east side—I think they do potentially eat various veg, but also dandelions and other 'weeds'! Find out more about the lesser yellow underwing moth (Noctua comes) here.

 Spotted a.m. April 12th 2019 by east side plotholder NS. Possibly a smooth newt? Newts are tricky to identify--find out more in our pest or guest newt feature.
 Coccinella septempunctata, seven-spot ladybird, I have seen a few of these around the plot over the past couple of weeks on sunny days—NM West side plot, March 31 2019.
