Warriston Allotments AGM 2020 and 2021
This were both cancelled due to COVID 19 restrictions. The committee had its first meeting in 2021 in April and has ended the year with a final October meeting. Our next meeting is in January 2022.
Warriston Allotments Association AGM 2019
Our meeting at the Botanic Garden in RGBE's beautiful David Douglas Room included talks by Andy Jarman on bees and Ben Dell on organic growing. Thirty six people attended and as well as a catch on on Warriston news, tea and coffee were provided — it was an informative afternoon. 14 people have signed up for the committee 2020.
Warriston Allotments Association AGM 2018
Our meeting at the Botanic Garden in RGBE included an informative talk by mycologist Stephan Helfer who promises to visit the site next year with some tips on growing mushrooms, a good discussion about plans for Warriston and some excellent homemade cake, coffee and chat. Four new members of the committee signed up bringing our number to a very healthy 15.
The 2019 Allotment Show was held again in the Methodist Church in Nicolson Square, Edinburgh on Saturday 14 September. Among the prize winners were Summerside Nursery who have a plot at Warriston.
