Warriston Allotments Annual General Meeting
Sunday 3 November 2019 2 – 4pm David Douglas Room John Hope Gateway (West Gate) Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE) See below for location/directions |
AGM 2019
We're back at the RBGE this year.
Please note our change of venue, this year we are in the David Douglas Room in The John Hope Gateway, the main west gate building on Arboretum Place.
Warriston AGMs are popular as they provide a chance to meet fellow plot holders and enjoy some tea and coffee at the post-business get together. The RBGE is a beautiful place to visit and this year we have two invited speakers.
Invited Speakers
It's going to be an entertaining afternoon and we are delighted to announce that Andy Jarman of BWARS (Bee, Wasp and Ant Recording Society) will be with us to talk about insects in general and our Warriston insect population in particular. The society made a visit to Warriston Allotments this summer. Please bring any questions you have about insects, either as gardeners' pests or guests, for Andy to answer.
We also have a short talk on fruit and sustainable growing from Ben Dell of the Edible Edinburgh project. He will be answering questions along with Andy.
We will fit in short updates from the committee on what's going on at Warriston.
